Bayesian Inference and regression using R and Stan
This tutorial is designed to cover the basics of Bayesian Workflow using Stan through brms and R. We will cover prior predictive checks, understanding computational diagnostics and when to worry, fitting multilevel models with brms and checking/evaluating model fit. Code will be provided along with the workshop, we highly recommend attendees bring a laptop to follow along.
Dr Lauren Kennedy is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at Monash University. She works on survey inference and design and Bayesian workflow for the social sciences.
Attendees should have a basic understanding of linear regression and should feel confident working in R.
